Pakistan, July 29 -- GUJRAT - The University of Gujrat's Finance & Planning Committee has reviewed a proposed budget of more than Rs. 6 billion for fiscal year 2026-27, to be presented before the syndicate for approval.

The 36th meeting at Hafiz Hayat Campus, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ul Haq, recipient of the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, underscored financial discipline and resource mobilization. Nearly Rs. 3.75 billion were raised internally, while governance reforms saved Rs. 400 million last year.
