Pakistan, Aug. 7 -- Peter Katsis, a respected music industry manager who guided the careers of some of the world's biggest artists over more than three decades, has died at the age of 69. His representative confirmed that he passed away due to complications from congestive heart failure, marking the end of a remarkable career that shaped pop, rock and alternative music.

Katsis began his career in Chicago during the 1980s, managing the band Ministry in its early years while also contributing to the city's growing dance music scene.
