Pakistan, May 16 -- Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov on Saturday praised Pakistan's constructive role in mediation efforts for regional peace and stability. He made the remarks during a phone call with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The discussion also covered bilateral relations and wider regional developments.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest at bilateral and multilateral levels. Saidov appreciated Pakistan's diplomatic engagement in supporting peace initiatives across the Middle East. Moreover, he acknowledged Islamabad's efforts to promote regional security and dialogue.
