Pakistan, Sept. 2 -- The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier arrived at Thailand's Laem Chabang port on Wednesday after 286 days at sea. More than 5,000 US sailors and Marines are aboard the nuclear-powered carrier. The crew will travel to Pattaya for a rest and recreation stop. Rear Admiral Robert Loughran said the visit would give sailors and Marines an opportunity to rest. Captain Dan Keeler also described the port visit as part of the carrier's historic deployment.
