Pakistan, Aug. 9 -- A strict crackdown has been ordered in Punjab against the illegal use of flashers and HID lights. DIG Traffic Punjab Muhammad Waqas Nazir has directed to intensify action against prohibited lights to prevent accidents and ensure safe travel of citizens. According to the spokesperson, accident analysis has revealed that flashers and HID lights are becoming a major cause of road accidents. The bright light of high beams and HID lights affects visibility of drivers coming from the opposite direction, which increases the risk of accidents.
