Pakistan, July 1 -- The birthright citizenship policy will remain in place after the US Supreme Court rejected former President Donald Trump's executive order that sought to limit automatic citizenship for certain children born in the United States.

According to international media reports, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to uphold a lower court's decision blocking Trump's executive order. It marks the second major Trump policy struck down by the court this year, following its earlier decision against his global tariff measures.
