Pakistan, July 30 -- The US military struck dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targets across Iran on Thursday after Iranian missile attacks. The operation targeted command centres and drone facilities. The escalation increases regional security risks and affects military, energy, and diplomatic stability.

According to US Central Command, the operation lasted two hours between 0000 GMT and 0200 GMT. CENTCOM said the strikes aimed to reduce threats against American forces, commercial shipping, and Gulf countries. Iran's state media reported three people were killed on Qeshm Island.
