Pakistan, July 2 -- The United States on Wednesday signed an agreement to construct a permanent embassy compound in Jerusalem, marking a significant step in its diplomatic presence in Israel. The move follows earlier decisions to relocate US diplomatic services from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Israel described the agreement as evidence of an "unbreakable alliance" between the two countries.
