Pakistan, July 24 -- A US Secret Service agent assigned to Vice President JD Vance is under investigation over allegations of leaking sensitive operational information following reports about the vice president's personal travel requests, officials said on Thursday.

The investigation comes after broadcaster MSNOW reported that members of Vance's security detail had become frustrated with what it described as frequent personal travel requests involving the vice president and his family. The report claimed one request involved using Marine Two, the vice president's official helicopter, to fly Vance's son to a golf lesson at Joint Base Andrews near Washington.
