Pakistan, May 18 -- The United States (US) has announced that China will purchase at least $17bn worth of American agricultural products annually following talks between President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, according to a White House fact sheet.

The agreement, released on Sunday, states that the purchases will continue through 2028, with the 2026 target adjusted on a proportional basis for the remainder of the year.
