Pakistan, May 1 -- The United States is planning a new international alliance to secure shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, aiming to restore safe maritime traffic. Reports indicate that this initiative comes amid rising concerns over disruptions in one of the world's most critical oil routes.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the proposed alliance is named "Maritime Freedom Construct." The plan was outlined in a diplomatic cable sent by the U.S. State Department to its embassies. Officials have started efforts to gather international support for the initiative.
