Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- The United States and Pakistan reaffirmed their commitment to fighting terrorism during the Fourth US-Pakistan Counterterrorism Dialogue held in Washington DC. Senior officials from both countries reviewed shared security interests, discussed emerging threats and agreed to strengthen cooperation for regional peace, stability and the safety of their citizens through closer coordination.

The talks were led by US Coordinator for Counterterrorism Ambassador Gregory LoGerfo and Pakistan's Special Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Nabeel Munir.
