Pakistan, Aug. 11 -- The United States and Pakistan have signed a five-year agreement to expand educational exchange programmes, including the Fulbright scholarship, strengthening cooperation in higher education.

The agreement was signed in Islamabad by USEFP Executive Director Dr Peter Moran and HEC Executive Director Professor Dr Zia Ul Haq, continuing a long-standing academic partnership.

Under the new arrangement, Pakistani students and scholars will continue accessing US universities and academic programmes while contributing skills to Pakistan's higher education sector.
