Pakistan, June 22 -- The United States and Iran have agreed on a roadmap toward a final peace agreement after high-stakes talks in Switzerland, despite tensions sparked by renewed disputes over the Strait of Hormuz and fresh warnings from US President Donald Trump.
The negotiations, mediated by Qatar and Pakistan, concluded with what officials described as "positive and constructive" discussions. In a joint statement, the mediators announced that both sides had agreed to work toward a comprehensive peace deal within the next 60 days.
