Pakistan, Aug. 12 -- The United States and Iran have agreed in principle to extend their 60-day ceasefire, Turkish media reported Wednesday. The development could prolong the current pause in hostilities between the two sides.

According to Anadolu , both countries reached a preliminary understanding on extending the ceasefire. However, officials have yet to determine the duration of the proposed extension.
