Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- US President Donald Trump, Denmark and Greenland have signed a security agreement expanding the US military presence in the Arctic territory. The deal allows greater American access to Greenland while stopping short of US annexation. Trump had previously pushed for American control of the strategically located island. However, Greenland and Denmark opposed any transfer of sovereignty. The agreement instead focuses on security cooperation and NATO's role in the Arctic.
