Pakistan, Oct. 17 -- The United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) reported that over three hundred forty children have been killed in Gaza since the truce was announced. Speaking from Geneva, Unicef spokesperson Ricardo Pires emphasized that ongoing casualties show the truce is failing to protect vulnerable families. Furthermore, at least thirty-three children suffered life-altering injuries, while two others succumbed to previous wounds across the territory. Consequently, the humanitarian organization warned that young residents continue to face extreme daily life-threatening risks.
