Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- The United Nations Security Council has condemned the deadly terrorist attack in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The council called the bombing "heinous and cowardly" and demanded accountability for those responsible.

At least 23 people died in the September 18 attack, including 17 policemen and six civilians. Militants first detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a mosque during Friday prayers. They then entered the Police Lines compound and attacked police facilities.
