Pakistan, Oct. 3 -- The United Kingdom offered to support Pakistan's investment, trade and private-sector reforms through technical assistance, as the two sides discussed measures to strengthen the country's institutional and policy framework and improve the business environment.
The development came after Jane Marriott CMG OBE, British High Commissioner to Pakistan, called on Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, to discuss Pakistan's economic reform priorities and opportunities to deepen trade and investment cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
She was accompanied by Development Director Sam Waldock and Senior Economist Louie Dane, read a statement on Friday.
