Pakistan, July 22 -- The United Kingdom has reaffirmed its policy of allowing the United States to use British military bases for operations against Iran, with newly appointed Prime Minister Andy Burnham approving continued access for what the UK describes as "defensive operations."

According to a Bloomberg report, Burnham has endorsed the existing policy established under former Prime Minister Keir Starmer, allowing US forces to use key British military facilities in support of ongoing operations involving Iran.
