Pakistan, Oct. 2 -- The United Kingdom has offered technical support for Pakistan's trade, investment and private-sector reforms. The offer came during talks on improving Pakistan's business and policy environment. British officials discussed ways to strengthen institutions and support economic transformation. Both sides also reviewed opportunities to expand trade and investment between the two countries.
British High Commissioner Jane Marriott met Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb to discuss Pakistan's reform priorities. Development Director Sam Waldock and Senior Economist Louie Dane also attended the meeting.
