Pakistan, Aug. 15 -- The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned an Iranian attack targeting an ADNOC-affiliated vessel while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The UAE Foreign Ministry said no injuries were reported in the incident and described the attack as a hostile act.

The ministry said the attack violated UN Security Council Resolution 2817, which stresses freedom of navigation. It also rejected attacks on commercial vessels and any attempts to obstruct international maritime routes.
