Pakistan, Aug. 14 -- Two suspects allegedly involved in attacks that killed three Lahore policemen were killed in a police encounter. Police identified them as a father and son.

According to police, Crime Control Department teams pursued the suspects after they allegedly attacked officers. The suspects reportedly fled in a government vehicle before abandoning it near Ravi Rayan.

Police said the suspects entered a house and allegedly held residents hostage at gunpoint. Officers surrounded the property and called on them to surrender.
