Pakistan, July 2 -- At least two people died and nine others were injured in rain-related incidents across Punjab during the past 24 hours. The casualties followed strong winds, heavy rain, and lightning as pre-monsoon weather intensified. Residents across Punjab remain affected as authorities warn of more severe weather until July 6.

Rescue 1122 spokesperson Farooq Ahmad said both fatalities occurred in Attock after a wall collapsed near Naya Pump. The incident also injured three people during heavy rain and strong winds. Meanwhile, another roof collapsed in Attock's Para Shaheen Bagh, injuring three more residents. Rescue teams responded to the affected areas and shifted victims for medical treatment.
