Pakistan, July 27 -- Turkmenistan has condemned the reported attack on an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea, describing any military action in the strategically important waterway as "unacceptable" and reaffirming its commitment to regional peace and stability.

In a statement issued on Monday, Turkmenistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it was responding to international media reports about an attack on a vessel in the Caspian Sea on July 25, 2026.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan declares that such actions are unacceptable," the statement said, without identifying those responsible for the reported incident.
