Pakistan, Aug. 21 -- Turkiye has sought an international arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over alleged genocide linked to a Gaza aid flotilla.
Turkish Justice Minister Akin Gurlek said his ministry requested Interpol red notices for Netanyahu and Israeli national Afek Moskovitch.
The request follows arrest warrants reportedly issued on July 14, 2026. Turkish authorities accused both individuals of genocide and other alleged crimes.
According to the justice ministry, the charges include crimes against humanity, aggravated deprivation of liberty, torture and property destruction. The allegations also include hijacking and aggravated looting.
