Pakistan, April 24 -- US President Donald Trump has renewed threats against the United Kingdom over its digital services tax on major American tech companies. He warned that the US could impose significant tariffs if Britain does not scrap the levy. His remarks were made during a press interaction at the Oval Office.

The tax, introduced in 2020, imposes a two percent charge on revenues earned by large digital firms from UK users. It mainly affects major US technology companies operating social media and online platforms. The policy has been a recurring source of tension in UK-US trade relations.
