Pakistan, Aug. 7 -- US President Donald Trump signed two executive orders targeting birthright citizenship despite a recent Supreme Court ruling. The orders renew his administration's efforts to restrict citizenship for certain children born in America.

The directives target so-called birth tourism and narrow historical exceptions to citizenship at birth. They also affect children of foreign government employees and people classified as alien enemies.
