Pakistan, April 17 -- US President Donald Trump has said the Iran war could end soon as negotiations between Washington and Tehran show progress. He stated that both sides may meet over the weekend for further talks. The remarks are significant as the conflict continues to disrupt global energy markets and regional stability.

Trump told reporters that an agreement with Iran was very close and could be signed soon. He suggested the deal could be formalised in Islamabad if negotiations succeed. Moreover, he said Iran had offered not to pursue nuclear weapons for more than 20 years.
