Pakistan, July 28 -- US President Donald Trump said Washington holds a "very strong position" on Iran and warned it could target the country's critical infrastructure. However, he said he would prefer to avoid military action because of its potential humanitarian consequences.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump said the US military could destroy most of Iran's bridges in less than an hour. He also claimed American forces could disable all of Iran's power plants within a single day.
