Pakistan, July 7 -- U.S. President Donald Trump has urged Congress to approve a $350 billion defence package as soon as lawmakers return to session. He described the funding as essential to maintaining America's military strength and future security. The proposal forms part of his broader legislative agenda on defence and national security.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the U.S. military had never been stronger or more powerful. He claimed recruitment targets had been achieved ahead of schedule and troop morale had reached a record high. Trump also praised the military's performance during celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of American independence.
