Pakistan, Aug. 24 -- US President Donald Trump took a ceremonial lap in the armoured presidential limousine on Sunday before waving the green flag for the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, sending the first IndyCar field ever to race through Washington onto a circuit built around the National Mall.

Social media influencer @MarioNawfel tweeted, "About as American as it gets. A bald eagle swooped down as "God Bless America" played during the Freedom 250 Grand Prix."
