Pakistan, July 24 -- US President Donald Trump said Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to visit the United States on September 24. The meeting could mark another high-level effort to improve dialogue between Washington and Beijing.

Speaking about the construction of a new White House ballroom, Trump said the venue could host talks with Xi. He added that the leaders are expected to discuss artificial intelligence and other key issues.

According to Trump, the expected meeting may coincide with the United Nations General Assembly session in New York. He also said he plans to visit China at a later date.
