Pakistan, July 24 -- The Trump administration is set to impose new tariffs of 10% and 12.5% on imports from 60 trading partners, replacing a temporary global tariff that expires on Friday and marking another major shift in US trade policy.

The new duties will take effect at 12:01 a.m. EDT under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, following a Supreme Court ruling earlier this year that struck down President Donald Trump's broader reciprocal tariffs introduced under emergency powers.
