Pakistan, Aug. 3 -- US President Donald Trump said negotiations with Iran will begin on Monday. He declined to set a deadline for an agreement, signaling renewed diplomatic efforts to ease regional tensions and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump made the announcement after returning to Washington from New Jersey. He said he preferred reaching a deal instead of further military action but provided no details about the venue or participants.
