Pakistan, July 22 -- The Central Traders Association of Muzaffarabad has distanced itself from a strike and shutdown call scheduled for July 22, announcing that all markets and shops in the city will remain open as usual.

Association officials said they have clearly rejected the strike call and urged traders to continue their routine business activities.

They said acting chairman of the Central Traders Association Muzaffarabad, Gohar Kashmiri, remains the traders' agreed leader and, according to the association's decision, all markets and shops will remain open on July 22.
