Pakistan, Aug. 1 -- Pakistan is facing a severe governance crisis because its administrative structure relies on outdated, centralized frameworks while managing a modern population of over 250 million. The current setup confines state authority within four massive, functionally ungovernable provinces. At the same time, the persistent delay or failure of local body elections across the country has completely erased the grassroots tier of leadership. This structural mismatch makes daily public management painfully slow and inefficient.
