Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- Tom Cruise has invited Taylor Swift to collaborate on a movie after the pair recently bonded over football. The actor praised the pop superstar after watching Travis Kelce play at Arrowhead Stadium.

Cruise, 64, spoke warmly about Swift, 36, during a recent interview. Asked whether he would ever work with the singer, he gave a direct invitation: "I make movies. Let's go make a movie!"

The Mission: Impossible star also praised Swift's abilities as a writer and performer. He said she could become a successful feature-film director if she chose to pursue filmmaking beyond music videos.
