As the pop icon turned 45 years old on Friday, September 4, her mother took to Instagram to share one of the first-ever pictures of Beyonce when she was just a few minutes old, along with a touching birthday wish.

"Reminiscing on this day 45 years ago. You took nine hours to come. I am exhausted in this photo, but the happiest I've ever been in my life up to this point on this day. Sept 4th, 1981," Knowles wrote.
