Pakistan, May 21 -- The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast hot and dry weather across most parts of the country on Thursday, while warning that thunderstorms, gusty winds and isolated hailstorms are likely in upper regions.

According to the Met Office, southern parts of Pakistan are expected to remain under intense heatwave conditions during daytime, especially in upper Sindh, where temperatures are likely to stay significantly above normal.

Meanwhile, rain-windstorms and thunderstorms are expected in several northern and upper areas, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, the Pothohar region, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas. Isola...
