Pakistan, April 30 -- At least five civilians, including three children, were injured after mortar shelling reportedly originating from across the border struck a residential area in Angoor Adda, South Waziristan, according to security and local sources.

Officials said the shelling targeted a civilian neighbourhood, hitting the home of residents Kareem Khan and Rehmatullah. The impact of the mortar caused significant damage to the house and left members of the same family injured.
