Pakistan, Aug. 10 -- Christopher Nolan's epic film The Odyssey has crossed $1.1 billion worldwide after only four weekends in cinemas, becoming the director's highest-grossing movie. The film, released on July 17, has delivered a major box office milestone while continuing its strong theatrical run.

The movie has earned around $461.1 million from North American cinemas and another $643.6 million from international markets. Together, the figures have pushed its global earnings beyond $1.1 billion, giving Nolan his biggest commercial success to date.
