Pakistan, Nov. 8 -- Netflix's political drama The Diplomat has achieved a major streaming milestone after attracting more than one billion minutes of viewing in a week. The series, starring Keri Russell, recorded 1.19 billion minutes between October 19 and 25. Nielsen data reported by The Hollywood Reporter confirmed its impressive performance.

The achievement made The Diplomat the most-watched original series across streaming platforms during that week. Its fourth season premiered on October 15, with all eight episodes released together. The series continued gaining viewers during its second week instead of losing momentum after its debut.
