Pakistan, Aug. 10 -- Pakistan's textile industry has urged the government to immediately resolve an indefinite goods transport strike. The industry warned that prolonged disruption could affect exports and mill operations. The All Pakistan Textile Mills Association raised concerns about shortages of cotton supplies. Goods transporters have remained on strike since August 8. The stoppage has disrupted the movement of essential industrial cargo across the country.
