Pakistan, May 12 -- Direct passenger flights between Tehran and Karachi have resumed after a gap of 72 days, marking the restoration of air connectivity between Iran and Pakistan.
A passenger aircraft operated by Tabaan Air landed in Karachi carrying travellers from Tehran before returning on the same route.
The flight was operated using a Russian aircraft in cooperation with Tabaan Air. Flight TB7211 arrived in Karachi from Tehran with passengers, while return flight TB7212 departed from Karachi back to the Iranian capital. The Airbus A320 aircraft was used for the two-way service.
