Pakistan, Aug. 12 -- Taylor Swift has been announced as an inductee into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, becoming the youngest artist ever selected for the prestigious honour.

The 36-year-old singer shared an emotional statement following the announcement, reflecting on her childhood dream of building a songwriting career in Nashville. Swift said she always viewed Nashville as the ideal place to learn from experienced writers and become part of a community built around storytelling, creativity and music.
