Pakistan, Aug. 13 -- Taylor Swift has been announced as an inductee at the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, making history as the youngest artist to ever receive the honour.

Following the announcement, the pop superstar, 36, released a letter to be read by the executive director, Mark Ford, at the ceremony.

The Fate of Ophelia hitmaker penned, "From the time I started writing songs as a child, I fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be, I wanted to learn with and from the best and get to immerse myself in a community of storytellers and thankfully Nashville turned out to be exactly what I'd dreamed of."
