Pakistan, Oct. 9 -- Pakistan actress Tamkenat Mansoor has been named among the members of this year's Pakistan Academy Selection Committee.

The committee also includes veteran actors Marina Khan and Hina Khawaja Bayat, artist Misha Japanwala, director Nabeel Qureshi, director and producer Shahzad Rafique and producer Badar Ikram.

The committee is led by Deputy Chairperson Sana Zahra Jafri, a filmmaker, writer and producer.

Earlier this month, 'Hanging by a Wire', directed by Mohammed Ali 'Mo' Naqvi, made history after becoming the first documentary selected to represent Pakistan in the Best International Feature Film category at the 2027 Academy Awards.
