Pakistan, April 9 -- Tamim Iqbal, newly appointed president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, has announced significant increases in salaries and match fees for both men's and women's cricketers.

The move comes shortly after the Bangladeshi government restructured the board and appointed Tamim as its head, replacing the previous administration led by Aminul Islam. As part of his initial reforms, Tamim has prioritized improving financial support for players across all levels of domestic cricket.
