Pakistan, June 28 -- Syria has deployed its first international search and rescue mission to Venezuela to assist victims of the devastating earthquakes that struck earlier this week. The landmark operation marks the first time Syrian rescue personnel have participated in a disaster response mission outside their own country, reflecting a new chapter in the country's humanitarian efforts.

The mission was launched under the directives of President Ahmad al-Sharaa and coordinated through Syria's Foreign Ministry.
